Mezzo soprano Maite Beaumont was born in Pamplona (Spain). == Life & Work == Beaumont studied voice and violin at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory. At the same time she studied sociology at Navarra University. She won many international competitions. Thanks to a scholarship of the Humboldt foundation Maite Beaumont completed her studies with Hanna Schwarz in Hamburg. Initially she was part of the ensemble of the Hamburgische Staatsoper, where she regularly appeared in many important roles of her (repertoire ).
